‘Ojaq’ grabs award at Religion Today Film Festival

Iran’s short documentary ‘Ojaq’ has grabbed an award at the Religion Today Film Festival in Italy.

Ali Bolandnazar, the director of ‘Ojaq’, told reporters on Thursday that his film was named the Best Short Documentary at the 23rd edition of the Italian event.

‘Ojaq’ is about the Qashqai Clan, their folk customs, as well as the status and role of oven (Ojaq in Persian) among the people of the tribe.

Earlier reports said Reza Mirkarimi’s ‘Castle of Dreams’ won the best feature film award at the Italian festival.

The 23rd edition of the Religion Today Film Festival took place on September 23-30.
